The Opportunity:

We are looking for a Part-Time Cleaner to join our team and contribute to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students and staff. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a well-respected school and make a positive impact on the daily lives of pupils and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean classrooms, offices, toilets, halls, staff rooms, and servery areas to an exceptional standard.
• Follow cleaning procedures and health and safety protocols, including COSHH requirements.
• Work collaboratively with the wider Cleaning team and support the team when additional hours are required.
• Ensure all areas are maintained to a high standard of presentation and cleanliness.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and provide excellent customer service to staff and students.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Experience of using current cleaning materials, methods, and appliances.
• Understanding of basic health and safety requirements, including COSHH.
• Relevant experience delivering high standards of cleaning, ideally in the education or hospitality sector.
• Effective verbal communication skills and a commitment to excellent customer service.
• A positive, supportive, and flexible team member.

Preferred

• Experience working in a school or similar environment.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings from 4pm on Monday to Friday.
• Willingness to take on additional responsibilities when required.
