The Opportunity:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Part-Time English Teacher to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and high-quality English lessons to students across a range of key stages.
- Inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential in English.
- Develop and implement effective teaching strategies that align with the school’s vision and curriculum.
- Support students’ personal and academic growth through individualized feedback and guidance.
- Participate in professional development and training programs, including ECF/RQT if applicable.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback.
- Contribute to the planning and delivery of extracurricular activities related to English.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in English education.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching English.
- Ability to create engaging and inclusive classroom environments.
- Commitment to student welfare and personal development.
- Experience working in a school setting, ideally in a similar role.
Preferred
- Experience with the ECF/RQT programme or similar teacher training initiatives.
- Familiarity with Catholic values and faith-based education.
- Experience in delivering lessons to a wide range of abilities and age groups.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
