Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Mathematics up to A-level with a focus on outstanding teaching and learning.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of the Mathematics curriculum.
- Support students in achieving their full academic potential through innovative and engaging teaching methods.
- Participate in the co-curricular life of the school, including extracurricular activities and events.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance departmental performance and student outcomes.
- Provide constructive feedback to students through effective assessment and evaluation.
- Engage in professional development and continuous improvement of teaching practice.
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and pastoral care within the classroom.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in Mathematics.
- Experience teaching Mathematics up to A-level.
- Commitment to high standards of teaching and learning.
- Willingness to participate in the co-curricular life of the school.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred
- Experience working with ECTs or in an induction process.
- Background in Catholic education or values.
- Experience in pastoral care or student support.
- Familiarity with the UK curriculum and examination system.
