Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, challenging, and high-quality Mathematics lessons.
  • Inspire and motivate students to achieve their best through innovative teaching methods.
  • Support students in developing a deep understanding of Mathematics and its relevance to further study and careers.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to improve student outcomes and departmental performance.
  • Contribute to the development of the Mathematics curriculum and extracurricular activities.
  • Provide pastoral support and guidance to students where appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and performance.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, staff training, and whole-school events.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with a relevant teaching qualification.
  • Proven experience in teaching Mathematics at secondary level.
  • Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics.
  • Ability to inspire and engage students of all abilities.
  • Commitment to Catholic education and values.

Preferred

  • Experience in teaching at Key Stage 3 and 4.
  • Experience with GCSE or A Level Mathematics.
  • Experience in developing and delivering a transformative curriculum.
  • Experience with extracurricular activities or school clubs related to Mathematics.
