A part-time Mathematics Teacher is required to join a dynamic and dedicated department committed to inspiring students and delivering high-quality learning. Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, challenging, and high-quality Mathematics lessons.
- Inspire and motivate students to achieve their best through innovative teaching methods.
- Support students in developing a deep understanding of Mathematics and its relevance to further study and careers.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to improve student outcomes and departmental performance.
- Contribute to the development of the Mathematics curriculum and extracurricular activities.
- Provide pastoral support and guidance to students where appropriate.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and performance.
- Participate in departmental meetings, staff training, and whole-school events.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with a relevant teaching qualification.
- Proven experience in teaching Mathematics at secondary level.
- Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics.
- Ability to inspire and engage students of all abilities.
- Commitment to Catholic education and values.
Preferred
- Experience in teaching at Key Stage 3 and 4.
- Experience with GCSE or A Level Mathematics.
- Experience in developing and delivering a transformative curriculum.
- Experience with extracurricular activities or school clubs related to Mathematics.
