Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Science subjects across Key Stage Three and specialisms at GCSE.
  • Deliver high-quality lessons that motivate and engage students.
  • Demonstrate strong classroom management and pastoral skills.
  • Support student progress through effective planning, teaching, and assessment.
  • Contribute to departmental initiatives and co-curricular activities.
  • Maintain excellent standards in public examination results.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance Science education and student outcomes.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified Science teacher with relevant experience.
  • Strong planning, teaching, and assessment skills.
  • Excellent classroom management and pastoral skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Commitment to academic excellence and student development.

Preferred

  • Experience with AQA GCSE and A Level Science syllabi.
  • Familiarity with digital learning tools in Science education.
  • Background in co-curricular activities or leadership roles.
