Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality PE and Games lessons that engage and challenge students.
• Develop and implement sporting programs that align with the school’s ethos and academic goals.
• Foster a passion for sport and physical activity among students.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support the pastoral and co-curricular development of pupils.
• Mentor and guide students in leadership, teamwork, and personal discipline.
• Stay up to date with best practices in physical education and sport.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A relevant degree and teaching qualification, preferably from a British university.
• Minimum of two years teaching experience in a British curriculum school.
• Hold a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Strong expertise in at least one of rugby, netball, cricket, or Prep School sport.
• A deep understanding of PE, Games, and Sport in a high-performance environment, ideally within the UK independent sector.
• Commitment to placing students at the center of teaching and learning.

Preferred

• Experience in a British independent school setting.
• Enthusiasm for professional development and continuous learning.
• Willingness to engage fully with the school’s pastoral and co-curricular systems.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
