Key Responsibilities:

  • Coach one or more sports such as football, swimming, cricket, netball, or athletics.
  • Manage and organise classroom activities effectively to ensure a positive learning environment.
  • Promote inclusive practice and support student wellbeing through physical education.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with the school’s educational philosophy.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher status or equivalent.
  • Experience delivering academic physical education, such as GCSE or BTEC.
  • Ability to coach one or more sports including football, swimming, cricket, netball, or athletics.
  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
  • Commitment to inclusive practice and student wellbeing.

Preferred

  • Experience working in an international school environment.
  • Familiarity with the International Baccalaureate (IB) framework.
  • Experience with student-centred, inquiry-based teaching methods.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for promoting physical health and lifelong fitness.
