Key Responsibilities:

• Teach GCSE, A Level and BTEC Level 3 Sport with a focus on girls.
• Coach one or more of the core sports: football, netball, volleyball, and basketball.
• Deliver high-quality lessons that promote student achievement and engagement.
• Contribute to the enriched curriculum programme and extracurricular activities.
• Support the continued success of the PE department with a focus on academic and sporting excellence.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages all students to reach their potential.
• Participate in professional development and staff meetings.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A B.Ed. or degree with PGCE / PGDE or equivalent and exceptional subject knowledge.
• At least 2 years’ experience of the National Curriculum for England.
• Proven experience teaching GCSE, A Level and/or BTEC Level 3 Sport.
• Experience coaching one or more of the core sports: football, netball, volleyball, and basketball.
• A strong commitment to student achievement and a belief in the potential of all students.

Preferred

• Experience contributing to an enriched curriculum programme.
• Experience in a school with a strong international community.
• Demonstrated success in delivering outstanding learning and teaching outcomes.
