The Opportunity:

This role is ideal for someone with experience in A-level PE and a strong background in rugby.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver a high-quality, inclusive PE curriculum across all key stages.
  • Support student progress and achievement in PE, including A-level qualifications.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and curriculum design.
  • Promote a culture of physical activity and healthy lifestyles within the school community.
  • Lead and participate in extra-curricular sports activities, including rugby.
  • Monitor and assess student performance to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with students to support their academic and personal development.
  • Contribute to the wider school community through professional development and teamwork.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge and experience.
  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality PE lessons and achieve excellent student outcomes.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Experience teaching A-level PE and a background in rugby.
  • Commitment to working as part of a team and contributing to the school community.

Preferred

  • Experience in curriculum development and innovation in PE.
  • Knowledge of inclusive teaching strategies and differentiated instruction.
  • Experience with extra-curricular sports programs and student welfare.
