Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver a high-quality, inclusive PE curriculum across all key stages.
- Support student progress and achievement in PE, including A-level qualifications.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and curriculum design.
- Promote a culture of physical activity and healthy lifestyles within the school community.
- Lead and participate in extra-curricular sports activities, including rugby.
- Monitor and assess student performance to ensure continuous improvement.
- Work closely with students to support their academic and personal development.
- Contribute to the wider school community through professional development and teamwork.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge and experience.
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality PE lessons and achieve excellent student outcomes.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Experience teaching A-level PE and a background in rugby.
- Commitment to working as part of a team and contributing to the school community.
Preferred
- Experience in curriculum development and innovation in PE.
- Knowledge of inclusive teaching strategies and differentiated instruction.
- Experience with extra-curricular sports programs and student welfare.
