Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver joyful and challenging Science lessons to students of all abilities.
- Collaborate with a team of dedicated professionals to maintain a culture of academic excellence and curiosity.
- Continuously improve teaching and learning practices to ensure student success.
- Motivate students and colleagues through strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Support the delivery of both Combined and Triple Science at GCSE.
- Encourage a growth mindset and character development in students.
- Contribute to the ongoing success of the Science department through innovation and collaboration.
- Promote the school’s values of Civic Responsibility, Personal Integrity, and Intellectual Curiosity.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified Science teacher with experience in Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality Science lessons and achieve excellent student outcomes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to student welfare and academic growth.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Preferred
- Experience in delivering Science at A level.
- Background in teaching English as a Second Language.
- Experience with curriculum development and assessment.
- Familiarity with GLF Schools and Multi-Academy Trust structures.
- Demonstrated leadership or mentoring experience.
