The Opportunity:

We are seeking a Head Cricket Coach to lead and develop the cricket programme for both boys and girls. This is a key role in maintaining the school's strong position in school cricket and inspiring student athletes at all levels.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the planning, development, and delivery of the cricket programme for all age groups.
Deliver high-quality coaching to pupils of all standards, ensuring continued excellence in performance.
Support the development of individual and team skills, with a focus on long-term growth and success.
Assist with additional activities such as sports scholarship assessments and school trips when required.
Work closely with other coaches and staff to promote a cohesive and supportive sporting culture.
Monitor and evaluate the performance of players, providing feedback and guidance for improvement.
Ensure the programme aligns with the school’s values and educational goals.
Maintain a safe and inclusive environment for all participants.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

Proven experience as a Head Cricket Coach or in a senior coaching role.
Strong knowledge of cricket coaching techniques and strategies.
Experience in developing young athletes and leading a sports programme.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Preferred

Experience working within an independent or boarding school setting.
Familiarity with sports scholarship assessment processes.
Ability to contribute to the school’s broader sporting and community initiatives.
