The Opportunity:
As a PE Teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality Physical Education to students in Key Stage 3 and 4. You will be part of a dedicated team focused on raising standards and ensuring all students achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and innovative PE lessons that inspire student participation and achievement.
- Work collaboratively with the curriculum team to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
- Support student development through extracurricular activities and sports programs.
- Monitor and assess student progress to ensure continued improvement in PE outcomes.
- Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement and wellbeing.
- Participate in professional development opportunities and training programs.
- Contribute to the wider school community through staff meetings, events, and initiatives.
- Ensure all teaching and learning activities align with the school’s vision and values.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Physical Education.
- Strong knowledge of PE curriculum and delivery at Key Stage 3 and 4.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to student wellbeing and inclusive education.
- Ability to work as part of a team and take on collaborative responsibilities.
Preferred
- Experience with sports coaching or extracurricular PE programs.
- Familiarity with NPQML or NPQSL training.
- Experience in a school with a strong focus on professional development.
- Knowledge of modern teaching techniques and technology in PE.
