The Opportunity:

As a PE Teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality Physical Education to students in Key Stage 3 and 4. You will be part of a dedicated team focused on raising standards and ensuring all students achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and innovative PE lessons that inspire student participation and achievement.
  • Work collaboratively with the curriculum team to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
  • Support student development through extracurricular activities and sports programs.
  • Monitor and assess student progress to ensure continued improvement in PE outcomes.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement and wellbeing.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities and training programs.
  • Contribute to the wider school community through staff meetings, events, and initiatives.
  • Ensure all teaching and learning activities align with the school’s vision and values.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Physical Education.
  • Strong knowledge of PE curriculum and delivery at Key Stage 3 and 4.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to student wellbeing and inclusive education.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and take on collaborative responsibilities.

Preferred

  • Experience with sports coaching or extracurricular PE programs.
  • Familiarity with NPQML or NPQSL training.
  • Experience in a school with a strong focus on professional development.
  • Knowledge of modern teaching techniques and technology in PE.
