Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and enhance teaching and learning.
  • Support the school’s commitment to professional development through ongoing training and CPD opportunities.
  • Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and pastoral support.
  • Work closely with students to foster a positive learning environment and encourage a passion for maths.
  • Stay up to date with developments in maths education and incorporate innovative teaching methods.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant maths education experience.
  • Strong subject knowledge in mathematics.
  • Experience in delivering high-quality lessons to a range of students.
  • Commitment to student progress and achievement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

  • Experience in a school with a strong team ethos and collaborative culture.
  • Experience with A-level maths teaching.
  • Experience in mentoring or supporting trainee teachers.
  • Familiarity with NPQML or NPQSL training frameworks.
