The Opportunity:
As a Personal Assistant to the Executive Head and Head Teachers, you will provide essential administrative support to senior leadership, ensuring the smooth operation of the school and the delivery of a high-quality experience for students and parents. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Executive Head and Head Teachers with administrative tasks, including document creation, proofreading, and ensuring timely and accurate communication.
- Manage diary schedules, coordinate meetings with internal and external stakeholders, and prepare detailed meeting minutes.
- Coordinate school events such as parent evenings, awards ceremonies, and sports days, ensuring seamless execution.
- Assist with operational tasks including school photos, inset days, and campus-level activities.
- Monitor and record compliance with internal and external regulations, including staff training, complaints handling, and data management.
- Ensure all data handling is in line with UK-GDPR requirements and maintain accurate records for school policies and reporting.
- Act as a key point of contact for parents, providing excellent customer service through phone calls and email communication.
- Collaborate with the School Support Centre to ensure effective support for senior leadership and students.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Strong administrative and organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Excellent communication skills, tact, diplomacy, and professionalism.
- High levels of accuracy, attention to detail, and discretion.
- Confident IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and database input.
- Previous experience in an administrative role.
- Exemplary levels of confidentiality and professionalism.
Preferred
- Familiarity with Student Management databases (preferably iSAMS).
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Teams.
- Experience managing data in line with UK-GDPR requirements.
- Experience within a similar role at a school.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive salary of £31,000 per annum.
- 40 hours per week with a permanent contract.
- On-site working pattern with no hybrid options.
