Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality PE lessons across the full age range (Year 7 to A Level).
- Develop and implement engaging sporting and physical education programs.
- Support the school’s commitment to holistic development through extracurricular activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the wider Sherborne Schools Group.
- Contribute to the ongoing success and development of the school and the educational group.
- Promote a culture of inclusivity, teamwork, and personal growth.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of students during all physical activities.
- Stay up to date with best practices in physical education and sports coaching.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Physical Education.
- Proven ability to teach across a range of ages and abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to student welfare and inclusive education.
- Experience in developing and delivering PE curricula.
Preferred
- Experience in a boarding or independent school setting.
- Leadership experience or involvement in sports teams or clubs.
- Knowledge of sports coaching and physical development.
- Experience with cross-school collaboration or group initiatives.
- Passion for promoting healthy lifestyles and lifelong physical activity.
