Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality Physics lessons that engage and challenge students at all levels.
• Develop and implement effective teaching strategies that align with the school’s curriculum and inspection standards.
• Support students in achieving outstanding academic results through individualized and differentiated instruction.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the science department’s performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Contribute to the development of the enriched curriculum programme, including extracurricular and enrichment activities.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and performance.
• Participate in departmental meetings, staff development, and school events.
• Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• GCSE and IB or A Level experience in Science/Physics.
• A B.Ed. or degree and PGCE / PGDE or equivalent with exceptional subject knowledge.
• A proven track record of outstanding learning and teaching.
• A mindset that believes all students have the potential for top performance and the drive to enable them to achieve this.
• Experience in delivering Physics at KS3, GCSE, and post-16 levels.

Preferred

• Experience with the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP).
• Strong knowledge of digital literacy and technology integration in the classroom.
• Experience in curriculum development and enrichment programme delivery.
