We are seeking an experienced and passionate Chemistry Teacher (Secondary) to join our growing science department and help shape the future of science education. Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Chemistry and all Sciences to GCSE level and Physics to A Level, using a variety of engaging and interactive methods.
- Deliver high-quality lessons that align with the AQA specification and promote deep understanding and curiosity in science.
- Contribute to the school's strong enrichment programme, including trips and science clubs that enhance student learning beyond the classroom.
- Support the pastoral care of students and foster a positive, inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practices in science teaching and learning.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to continuously improve teaching and leadership skills.
- Maintain up-to-date records and assessments of student progress and performance.
- Engage with parents and the wider school community to promote the value of science education.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A relevant degree and teaching qualification.
- Minimum two years of teaching experience, preferably in an international or UK setting.
- Ability to teach all Sciences to GCSE level and Physics to A Level.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to the school's values and mission.
Preferred
- Experience in teaching Chemistry in an international or UK school setting.
- Familiarity with the AQA curriculum and assessment specifications.
- Experience in leading or contributing to science enrichment activities and trips.
- Strong leadership and team collaboration skills.
- Experience with digital innovation and technology in the classroom.
