The Opportunity:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and qualified Physics Teacher to join our expanding team and inspire students up to A Level. This is a full-time, permanent role starting in September 2026, offering a supportive and forward-thinking environment where you can make a real impact on student learning and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Physics lessons to students across all key stages, up to A Level.
- Develop and implement engaging and innovative teaching strategies that align with the school’s STEM focus.
- Support students in achieving their academic potential through personalized feedback and guidance.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the school’s curriculum and extracurricular STEM offerings.
- Participate in professional development and contribute to the wider school community.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular and constructive feedback.
- Engage with parents and carers to support student learning and development.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment for all students.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with a relevant degree and QTS.
- Proven experience teaching Physics at Key Stage 3 and 4, with the ability to teach up to A Level.
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
Preferred
- Experience in a STEM-specialist school or similar educational setting.
- Familiarity with modern teaching methods and technologies.
- Experience with curriculum development or leadership in a teaching team.
