Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Physics to a range of pupils in the senior school, delivering engaging and challenging lessons.
  • Support pupils in developing a deep understanding of Physics, both within and beyond the curriculum.
  • Encourage participation in Physics-related competitions, societies, and extracurricular activities.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes intellectual curiosity and personal growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences.
  • Contribute to the school’s thriving co-curricular programme and pastoral care responsibilities.
  • Provide pastoral support and safeguarding for all pupils.
  • Engage in continuous professional development to enhance teaching practice and subject knowledge.

Required

  • Excellent subject knowledge in Physics.

Preferred

  • Prior experience teaching Physics in a secondary school setting.
