The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Physics Teacher to join our thriving Science department. This role offers the chance to inspire students from Year 7 through to A Level and contribute to a vibrant academic community. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about delivering high-quality Physics education and engaging in co-curricular activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and challenging Physics lessons to students across the secondary age range.
  • Support the development of students’ academic and personal growth through effective teaching and learning strategies.
  • Participate in co-curricular activities, including Science and STEM Club and pupil-led societies.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Science department’s overall performance and impact.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback and support.
  • Stay up to date with developments in Physics education and incorporate innovative teaching methods.
  • Contribute to the school’s wider community through active involvement in extracurricular activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Physics education.
  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality lessons to students across the secondary age range.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to student engagement and academic excellence.
  • Willingness to participate in co-curricular and extracurricular activities.

Preferred

  • Experience in leading or contributing to Science and STEM Club activities.
