The Opportunity:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Physics Teacher to join our thriving Science department. This role offers the chance to inspire students from Year 7 through to A Level and contribute to a vibrant academic community. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about delivering high-quality Physics education and engaging in co-curricular activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and challenging Physics lessons to students across the secondary age range.
- Support the development of students’ academic and personal growth through effective teaching and learning strategies.
- Participate in co-curricular activities, including Science and STEM Club and pupil-led societies.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Science department’s overall performance and impact.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback and support.
- Stay up to date with developments in Physics education and incorporate innovative teaching methods.
- Contribute to the school’s wider community through active involvement in extracurricular activities.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Physics education.
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality lessons to students across the secondary age range.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to student engagement and academic excellence.
- Willingness to participate in co-curricular and extracurricular activities.
Preferred
- Experience in leading or contributing to Science and STEM Club activities.
- Familiarity with modern teaching techniques and technologies.

- Previous leadership roles within a school or department.
