The Opportunity:

As a Primary School Leader, you will play a vital role in supporting the Primary Principal in leading and managing the school. This is an opportunity to shape the educational experience of students and contribute to the development of a strong, nurturing school culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to formulating and reviewing the Academy Improvement Plan and the aims and objectives of the Academy
• Support the Primary Principal in creating the academy’s ethos for teaching and learning
• Lead, develop and manage a phase or phases within the school ensuring consistency across the year groups
• Monitor the impact of teaching and learning activities on the attainment and progress made by all pupils
• Work with the Primary Principal to ensure the academy, people and resources within it are well organised and managed

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Proven leadership experience in a primary school setting
• Strong understanding of educational policies and practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the well-being of pupils and staff

Preferred

• Experience in instructional coaching and mentoring
• Background in curriculum development and improvement
• Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language
