Key Responsibilities:
- Teach a knowledge-rich curriculum to ensure pupils make excellent progress and develop a passion for learning.
- Keep pupils safe and maintain a classroom environment of high expectations and exceptional behaviour.
- Prioritise reading to help all pupils master essential basic skills.
- Engage in continual training and development to enhance your teaching practice and expertise.
- Assess pupil knowledge, provide timely feedback, and implement interventions to close learning gaps.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to create and share resources that support teaching and learning.
- Support the school’s vision and values by contributing to a positive, inclusive, and dynamic learning community.
- Participate in weekly lesson studies and professional development opportunities to enhance your teaching practice.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in primary education.
- Strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Excellent classroom management and behaviour management skills.
- Experience in delivering a knowledge-rich curriculum.
- Ability to assess pupil progress and provide targeted interventions.
Preferred
- Experience with curriculum development and resource creation.
- Background in teaching Mathematics, Science, or Technology.
- Experience in supporting students with diverse learning needs.
- Familiarity with inclusive education practices and multi-faith environments.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
