Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach a knowledge-rich curriculum to ensure pupils make excellent progress and develop a passion for learning.
  • Keep pupils safe and maintain a classroom environment of high expectations and exceptional behaviour.
  • Prioritise reading to help all pupils master essential basic skills.
  • Engage in continual training and development to enhance your teaching practice and expertise.
  • Assess pupil knowledge, provide timely feedback, and implement interventions to close learning gaps.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to create and share resources that support teaching and learning.
  • Support the school’s vision and values by contributing to a positive, inclusive, and dynamic learning community.
  • Participate in weekly lesson studies and professional development opportunities to enhance your teaching practice.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in primary education.
  • Strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Excellent classroom management and behaviour management skills.
  • Experience in delivering a knowledge-rich curriculum.
  • Ability to assess pupil progress and provide targeted interventions.

Preferred

  • Experience with curriculum development and resource creation.
  • Background in teaching Mathematics, Science, or Technology.
  • Experience in supporting students with diverse learning needs.
  • Familiarity with inclusive education practices and multi-faith environments.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
