Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and differentiated Music lessons across Primary and Secondary phases.
- Foster creativity, performance skills, and musical literacy in students of all abilities.
- Prepare students for performances, concerts, and school productions.
- Lead and contribute to ensembles, choirs, instrumental groups, and other co-curricular activities.
- Support students preparing for external music examinations.
- Maintain high standards of classroom management and student engagement.
- Contribute to curriculum development aligned with the school’s vision and values.
- Monitor, assess, and report on student progress in line with school policies.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A recognised teaching qualification and relevant academic degree in Music or a related field.
- Experience teaching Music across Primary and Secondary levels.
- Strong instrumental and/or vocal expertise.
- Experience preparing students for performances and, ideally, external examinations.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills.
Preferred
- A collaborative approach and willingness to contribute to school life beyond the classroom.
- Experience within a British or international curriculum.
- A clear commitment to safeguarding and student welfare.
