Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and differentiated Music lessons across Primary and Secondary phases.
Foster creativity, performance skills, and musical literacy in students of all abilities.
Prepare students for performances, concerts, and school productions.
Lead and contribute to ensembles, choirs, instrumental groups, and other co-curricular activities.
Support students preparing for external music examinations.
Maintain high standards of classroom management and student engagement.
Contribute to curriculum development aligned with the school’s vision and values.
Monitor, assess, and report on student progress in line with school policies.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

A recognised teaching qualification and relevant academic degree in Music or a related field.
Experience teaching Music across Primary and Secondary levels.
Strong instrumental and/or vocal expertise.
Experience preparing students for performances and, ideally, external examinations.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills.

Preferred

A collaborative approach and willingness to contribute to school life beyond the classroom.
Experience within a British or international curriculum.
A clear commitment to safeguarding and student welfare.
