Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons across EYFS, Key Stage 1, or Key Stage 2.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Support the development of pupils with autism through the school’s Resource Base.
  • Collaborate with the teaching team to enhance the quality of education.
  • Promote a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training.
  • Contribute to the planning and implementation of school-wide initiatives.
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly to ensure academic success.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in primary education.
  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
  • Commitment to inclusive education and supporting students with diverse needs.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

  • Experience with teaching students with autism or special educational needs.
  • Previous leadership or subject development experience.
  • Familiarity with educational research and its application in teaching practice.
  • Experience with the Cycle to Work scheme or similar initiatives.
