The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that align with the school’s curriculum and Catholic ethos
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and a love of learning
- Support and promote the spiritual, social, and academic development of all pupils
- Collaborate with colleagues across the school and local partnership for shared practice and professional development
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents
- Participate in school-wide events, pastoral care, and extra-curricular activities
- Maintain accurate records and reports in line with school and statutory requirements
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching and learning practices
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in primary education
- Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and ability to deliver it effectively
- Commitment to the Catholic ethos and values of the school
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and students
- Experience in creating and managing a positive classroom environment
Preferred
- Experience in a Catholic school setting
- Experience with teaching in a multicultural environment
- Experience with safeguarding and child protection policies
- Experience with leading or contributing to professional development initiatives
- Experience with innovative teaching methods and technologies
