Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Psychology lessons at both KS4 and KS5, ensuring student engagement and achievement.
- Develop and implement a curriculum that is inclusive, challenging, and aligned with the school’s values.
- Support student well-being and personal development through pastoral care and guidance.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning across the school.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support continued growth.
- Participate in professional development, mentoring, and staff training initiatives.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school through extra-curricular activities and events.
- Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience in Psychology or a related subject.
- Strong classroom management and teaching skills.
- Commitment to inclusive education and student well-being.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students.
- Experience in delivering both KS4 and KS5 curricula.
Preferred
- Experience with safeguarding and student welfare.
- Knowledge of current educational trends and curriculum developments.
- Experience with pastoral care and student support.
- Familiarity with KCSIE 2022 requirements.
- Experience in providing support for students with special educational needs.
