Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Psychology lessons at both KS4 and KS5, ensuring student engagement and achievement.
  • Develop and implement a curriculum that is inclusive, challenging, and aligned with the school’s values.
  • Support student well-being and personal development through pastoral care and guidance.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning across the school.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support continued growth.
  • Participate in professional development, mentoring, and staff training initiatives.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school through extra-curricular activities and events.
  • Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in Psychology or a related subject.
  • Strong classroom management and teaching skills.
  • Commitment to inclusive education and student well-being.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students.
  • Experience in delivering both KS4 and KS5 curricula.

Preferred

  • Experience with safeguarding and student welfare.
  • Knowledge of current educational trends and curriculum developments.
  • Experience with pastoral care and student support.
  • Familiarity with KCSIE 2022 requirements.
  • Experience in providing support for students with special educational needs.
