Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Psychology lessons that engage and challenge students at all levels.
- Develop and implement a curriculum that encourages critical thinking, creativity, and a love of learning.
- Use ICT effectively to enhance teaching and learning experiences.
- Contribute to the school’s ethos by participating in extra-curricular activities and events.
- Support students through pastoral care and guidance.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistent and high standards of teaching and learning.
- Provide feedback and assess student progress effectively.
- Stay up to date with developments in the field of Psychology and incorporate them into teaching.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Psychology.
- Experience of teaching A level Psychology, or equivalent, preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to student welfare and school values.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and take on additional responsibilities.
Preferred
- Experience with teaching able students.
- Experience in using ICT for teaching and learning.
- Involvement in extra-curricular activities.
- ECTs are welcome to apply.
