Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Psychology lessons that engage and challenge students at all levels.
  • Develop and implement a curriculum that encourages critical thinking, creativity, and a love of learning.
  • Use ICT effectively to enhance teaching and learning experiences.
  • Contribute to the school’s ethos by participating in extra-curricular activities and events.
  • Support students through pastoral care and guidance.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistent and high standards of teaching and learning.
  • Provide feedback and assess student progress effectively.
  • Stay up to date with developments in the field of Psychology and incorporate them into teaching.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Psychology.
  • Experience of teaching A level Psychology, or equivalent, preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to student welfare and school values.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and take on additional responsibilities.

Preferred

  • Experience with teaching able students.
  • Experience in using ICT for teaching and learning.
  • Involvement in extra-curricular activities.
  • ECTs are welcome to apply.
