The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Psychology Teacher to join our dedicated Sixth Form team. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality Psychology lessons and contributing to the continued success of the school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and stimulating Psychology lessons to students at KS5.
  • Develop and maintain a curriculum that encourages curiosity, interest, and enjoyment in Psychology.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes mutual respect and active listening.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support the school's ethos and contribute to a cohesive and reflective teaching team.
  • Utilize an innovative and flexible curriculum to enhance student learning and achievement.
  • Support students in their academic and personal development through a broad and co-curricular programme.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the appropriate age range.
  • Proven experience teaching Psychology at KS5 level.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to student welfare and academic excellence.

Preferred

  • Experience in leading the teaching of Psychology.
  • Familiarity with innovative teaching methods and flexible curriculum delivery.
  • Experience in a co-educational or independent school setting.
