The Opportunity:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Psychology Teacher to join our dedicated Sixth Form team. This role offers the opportunity to inspire and engage students in a dynamic and innovative teaching environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality Psychology lessons and contributing to the continued success of the school.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and stimulating Psychology lessons to students at KS5.
- Develop and maintain a curriculum that encourages curiosity, interest, and enjoyment in Psychology.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes mutual respect and active listening.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support the school's ethos and contribute to a cohesive and reflective teaching team.
- Utilize an innovative and flexible curriculum to enhance student learning and achievement.
- Support students in their academic and personal development through a broad and co-curricular programme.
- Engage with the school’s mission and values, ensuring a consistent and high standard of teaching and learning.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the appropriate age range.
- Proven experience teaching Psychology at KS5 level.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to student welfare and academic excellence.
Preferred
- Experience in leading the teaching of Psychology.
- Familiarity with innovative teaching methods and flexible curriculum delivery.
- Experience in a co-educational or independent school setting.
