Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and inspire a dedicated staff team to deliver outstanding educational outcomes.
  • Develop and implement a clear, ambitious vision for the school’s academic and leadership programmes.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and high standards across all areas of school life.
  • Ensure the school maintains its high Ofsted rating and continues to achieve exceptional results.
  • Build strong relationships with students, parents, and the local community.
  • Oversee the management of school resources, budgets, and strategic priorities.
  • Promote the school’s values and mission through effective leadership and communication.
  • Support the development of staff and students through leadership and professional growth opportunities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A degree-level qualification and Qualified Teacher Status.
  • Proven experience in senior leadership roles, including as a Principal or Deputy Principal.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate staff and students.
  • A clear vision for school improvement and a commitment to educational excellence.
  • Experience in managing and leading a high-performing school environment.

Preferred

  • Experience in a faith-based or inclusive educational setting.
  • Demonstrated success in improving student outcomes and school performance.
  • Experience with leadership development programmes and character education.
  • A strong understanding of the Star Academies values and mission.
