The Opportunity:

As a PYP Coordinator, you will lead and support the implementation of the IB Primary Years Programme, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning across the school. This role is ideal for an experienced educator passionate about fostering inquiry, creativity, and global citizenship in young learners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and oversee the delivery of the PYP curriculum across all year groups.
• Support teachers in developing and implementing inquiry-based learning approaches.
• Monitor and evaluate student progress and achievement in line with PYP standards.
• Facilitate professional development and collaboration among PYP teachers.
• Work closely with the Head of School and other coordinators to ensure alignment with school-wide goals.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation in teaching and learning.
• Ensure compliance with IB and school policies, including assessment and reporting procedures.
• Build strong relationships with students, parents, and the wider school community.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field, along with a relevant subject qualification.
• Proven experience in a PYP teaching or leadership role.
• Strong understanding of the IB Primary Years Programme and its pedagogical principles.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Commitment to child protection and safeguarding standards.

Preferred

• Experience in international school environments.
• Demonstrated success in leading curriculum development and teacher training.
• Fluency in multiple languages.
• Experience with digital learning tools and platforms.
