Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, inquiry-based Science lessons that align with the IB curriculum.
• Develop and implement engaging Biology programs for students across multiple age groups.
• Foster a classroom environment that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and scientific inquiry.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support cross-curricular learning and student progress.
• Participate in professional development and contribute to the continuous improvement of Science teaching and learning.
• Support students in achieving academic success and personal growth through personalized instruction and mentorship.
• Manage and maintain Science laboratory resources and equipment to ensure safe and effective learning experiences.
• Engage in extracurricular activities and school events that promote student well-being and academic achievement.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A Bachelor’s of Education or PGCE with a degree in Biology or a related science subject.
• Proven experience in teaching Science at the secondary level.
• Strong knowledge of the IB curriculum and pedagogy.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Commitment to child protection and safeguarding standards.

Preferred

• Experience in teaching Biology at the IB level.
• Familiarity with inquiry-based learning and student-centered teaching approaches.
• Experience with international curricula and diverse student populations.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Ability to contribute to a vibrant and inclusive school community.
