The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate PYP Maths Teacher to join a dynamic international teaching team. This role is ideal for someone who is committed to delivering inquiry-based mathematics education and promoting a safe, inclusive learning environment for all students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver engaging, inquiry-based PYP Maths lessons and units.
• Build strong, positive relationships with students to support academic and personal growth.
• Use the school’s planning systems to develop units of inquiry and submit plans by required deadlines.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of varied learner profiles.
• Integrate technology meaningfully within the PYP framework.
• Provide regular, meaningful feedback to guide student progress.
• Implement ongoing assessment using the school’s chosen methods and systems.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues regarding student needs and curriculum matters.
• Support wider school life beyond the classroom, including participation in school committees and events.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Education; teaching qualification preferred.
• Minimum 4 years of primary teaching experience, preferably in Maths within the PYP framework.
• Strong knowledge of PYP Maths curricula and assessment expectations.
• Experience differentiating instruction for diverse learners.
• Fluency in English (C1–C2).

Preferred

• IB PYP training or certification.
• Experience with the British National Curriculum.
• Experience with or knowledge of Teaching English as a Second Language.
