Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and innovative French and Arabic lessons to students aged 11 to 18.
- Plan and implement a curriculum that meets GCSE standards and promotes high achievement.
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking.
- Support student progress through effective assessment, feedback, and individualised learning strategies.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance teaching practices and leadership initiatives.
- Participate in professional development and training to maintain and improve teaching excellence.
- Engage with students, parents, and the wider community to promote the school’s mission and values.
- Contribute to the school’s leadership programme by modelling and encouraging leadership skills in students.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A degree-level qualification and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience of delivering high-quality teaching that leads to sustained student achievement.
- Ability to teach to GCSE standard in both French and Arabic.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred
- Experience in teaching both French and Arabic at secondary level.
- Experience of working in a school with a leadership specialism.
- Experience of innovation and creativity in teaching and learning.
- Experience of working in a faith-based or inclusive educational setting.
