Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and innovative French and Arabic lessons to students aged 11 to 18.
  • Plan and implement a curriculum that meets GCSE standards and promotes high achievement.
  • Foster a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking.
  • Support student progress through effective assessment, feedback, and individualised learning strategies.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance teaching practices and leadership initiatives.
  • Participate in professional development and training to maintain and improve teaching excellence.
  • Engage with students, parents, and the wider community to promote the school’s mission and values.
  • Contribute to the school’s leadership programme by modelling and encouraging leadership skills in students.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A degree-level qualification and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience of delivering high-quality teaching that leads to sustained student achievement.
  • Ability to teach to GCSE standard in both French and Arabic.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

  • Experience in teaching both French and Arabic at secondary level.
  • Experience of working in a school with a leadership specialism.
  • Experience of innovation and creativity in teaching and learning.
  • Experience of working in a faith-based or inclusive educational setting.
