Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality French lessons to students across key stages, ensuring engaging and effective learning.
  • Develop and implement a curriculum that promotes student achievement and fosters a love of learning.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support continued development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and share best practices.
  • Participate in school-wide initiatives and contribute to the development of the leadership programme.
  • Support the school’s mission to inspire young people through academic excellence and character development.
  • Engage with students and parents to build strong relationships and encourage a positive learning culture.
  • Stay up to date with developments in French teaching and educational research.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A degree-level qualification and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience of teaching to GCSE standard
  • Proven ability to deliver outstanding attainment and achievement
  • Experience of innovation and creativity in teaching

Preferred

  • Experience working in a faith-based or multi-faith environment
  • Experience of working with disadvantaged students
  • Experience of leading or contributing to leadership development programmes
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
