The Opportunity:

As a Reception Class Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality early years education and fostering a love of learning in young children. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the development and wellbeing of students in a supportive and inspiring environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and creative lessons tailored to the needs of Reception and KS1 students.
  • Support the development of literacy, numeracy, and social skills through a broad and stimulating curriculum.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a consistent and inclusive approach to teaching and learning.
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing targeted support where needed.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and confidence.
  • Participate in professional development, INSET, and training activities to enhance teaching practice.
  • Work closely with parents and carers to support student learning and wellbeing.
  • Organise and lead extra-curricular activities and after-school clubs.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Experience across all areas of teaching and learning
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Commitment to supporting pupils with diverse learning needs

Preferred

  • Experience or interest in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • Experience in teaching phonics
  • Understanding or experience with Early Learning Goals

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive salary based on experience, up to £46,399 p.a.
  • Flexible working hours (Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm)
