The Opportunity:
We are seeking an ICT Teacher to lead and support the delivery of high-quality digital education across the school. This role is pivotal in ensuring that pupils achieve excellence in computing and that ICT is effectively embedded across the curriculum.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver the Lion Academy Trust ICT curriculum during PPA sessions across the school.
- Support and guide teachers in embedding ICT effectively in different subject areas.
- Lead the development of high-quality ICT teaching and learning practices.
- Ensure pupils achieve high standards of attainment and digital literacy.
- Promote innovative use of technology in classrooms.
- Collaborate with staff to develop consistent teaching practices with technology.
- Provide professional guidance to colleagues to enhance ICT integration.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the school's digital learning environment.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience in ICT or computing education.
- Strong knowledge of the Lion Academy Trust ICT curriculum.
- Ability to lead and support staff in developing effective teaching practices.
- Experience in delivering high-quality digital education.
- Commitment to promoting digital literacy and innovation in the classroom.
Preferred
- Experience in supporting the integration of ICT across the curriculum.
- Familiarity with current educational technologies and software.
- Experience with teaching English as a Second Language or working in diverse educational settings.
- Background in professional development or leadership within education.
