The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and challenging lessons that foster a love for Religious Education and promote high standards of attainment
  • Contribute to the development of schemes of work and resources aligned with national standards
  • Participate in departmental initiatives, including field trips and enrichment activities
  • Monitor and support student progress, providing regular feedback to parents
  • Act as a Form Tutor, promoting positive behaviour and encouraging self-discipline

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A good honours degree in Religious Education or a related discipline
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Strong knowledge of the subject, curriculum requirements and exam specifications
  • Excellent organisational and classroom management skills

Preferred

  • Experience in teaching a range of abilities
  • Commitment to personal and professional development
  • Experience with Catholic education or values-based teaching
