Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and high-quality lessons in Design and Technology and Information Technology
• Contribute to curriculum development and the creation of resources aligned with national standards
• Support student progress through effective tracking, feedback, and parent communication
• Participate in departmental activities, including field trips and enrichment programmes
• Act as a Form Tutor, promoting positive behaviour and student welfare

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A good honours degree in Design and Technology, Information Technology, or a related discipline
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Strong knowledge of the subject, curriculum requirements, and exam specifications
• Excellent organisational and classroom management skills
• Commitment to personal and professional development

Preferred

• Experience teaching Art or related subjects
• Experience in a Catholic school environment
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team
