Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging and impactful RE lessons in line with the curriculum
• Support the wider Catholic life of the school
• Use a consistent and assertive approach to behaviour management
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and support each other
• Adapt and deliver pre-planned lessons to maintain consistency and reduce workload
• Develop and take on training opportunities to enhance teaching practice
• Implement strategies to support all students, including those with EAL, PP, and SEND needs
• Contribute to the continued success of the school’s outstanding academic performance

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Strong subject knowledge in RE for KS3 and KS4
• Experience in planning and delivering high-quality RE lessons
• Confidence in using a consistent and assertive behaviour policy
• Commitment to working as part of a supportive and collaborative team
• Ability to support all students, including those with additional needs

Preferred

• Experience with Catholic education or faith-based teaching
• Familiarity with Teaching English as a Second Language (EAL) strategies
• Previous experience in a school with an outstanding Ofsted rating
• Interest in developing and leading training initiatives
