Key Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the quality of teaching and learning across the school.
  • Provide pastoral support and guidance to students, contributing to their overall well-being and success.
  • Participate in professional development and training opportunities to maintain and enhance teaching expertise.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support continued improvement.
  • Contribute to the planning and delivery of school-wide events and initiatives that align with the school’s values.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports in line with school procedures and statutory requirements.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified Teacher of Religious Education with relevant experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to the school’s vision of "Building Brighter Futures".
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and take initiative.
  • Experience in developing and delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.

Preferred

  • Experience in teaching students of diverse backgrounds and abilities.
  • Knowledge of current issues and developments in Religious Education.
  • Experience with safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Familiarity with the school’s ethos and values.
