Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Art and Design Technology lessons to GCSE standard.
  • Inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential through innovative and engaging teaching methods.
  • Develop and implement a curriculum that reflects the school’s commitment to excellence and leadership.
  • Support students in developing practical and theoretical skills in Art and Design Technology.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and student outcomes.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
  • Participate in the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities and events.
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment for all students.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A degree-level qualification and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience of delivering Art and Design Technology to GCSE standard.
  • Proven ability to achieve outstanding pupil outcomes and raise attainment.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

  • Experience of working in a school with a leadership specialism.
  • Experience of developing and delivering innovative and creative lessons.
  • Experience of working with students from diverse backgrounds.
  • Experience of supporting student leadership and character development.
