The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Religious Studies lessons that engage and challenge students of all abilities.
  • Create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that promotes curiosity and critical thinking.
  • Support students with diverse learning needs and ensure they achieve their full potential.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across the federation to share best practices and resources.
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback to support learning.
  • Stay up to date with curriculum developments and incorporate innovative teaching methods.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school through extra-curricular activities and pastoral support.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports in line with school policies and procedures.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in Religious Studies.
  • Experience of teaching in a secondary school setting.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Commitment to student welfare and inclusive education.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Preferred

  • Experience in teaching Religious Studies to GCSE or A Level.
  • Experience of working with students with special educational needs or additional support requirements.
  • Familiarity with the H3 Federation or similar collaborative school structures.
  • ECTs (Early Career Teachers) are welcome to apply.
