Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Religious Studies lessons that engage and challenge students of all abilities.
- Create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that promotes curiosity and critical thinking.
- Support students with diverse learning needs and ensure they achieve their full potential.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across the federation to share best practices and resources.
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback to support learning.
- Stay up to date with curriculum developments and incorporate innovative teaching methods.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school through extra-curricular activities and pastoral support.
- Maintain accurate records and reports in line with school policies and procedures.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in Religious Studies.
- Experience of teaching in a secondary school setting.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Commitment to student welfare and inclusive education.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Preferred
- Experience in teaching Religious Studies to GCSE or A Level.
- Experience of working with students with special educational needs or additional support requirements.
- Familiarity with the H3 Federation or similar collaborative school structures.
- ECTs (Early Career Teachers) are welcome to apply.
