We are seeking a Temporary PE Teacher to join our dynamic department and support our students in achieving excellence in physical education and sports. Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality PE lessons to students across all key stages.
• Organise and lead a range of extra-curricular sports activities and fixtures.
• Support the development of students’ physical and social skills through team games and recreational activities.
• Work collaboratively with other members of the PE department and across the school.
• Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all students during PE and sports activities.
• Contribute to the school’s wider sporting culture and events.
• Monitor and assess student progress in PE and provide constructive feedback.
• Stay up to date with current developments in PE and sports education.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with relevant experience in PE.
• Ability to teach up to GCSE level.
• Commitment to team sports and extra-curricular activities.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Experience working with young people in a school setting.

Preferred

• Experience in a selective or Catholic school environment.
• Previous involvement in sports fixtures and clubs.
• Knowledge of Catholic education values and ideals.
• Experience with safeguarding and child welfare procedures.
