The Opportunity:
As a School Business Manager, you will lead the Finance, IT, Premises, and Administration teams, ensuring the school maintains high standards of health and safety. This is a strategic role within the Senior Leadership Team, where you will contribute to the school’s vision and drive its ambitions forward.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead the Finance, IT, Premises, and Administration teams effectively.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards across the school.
- Support the Senior Leadership Team in achieving the school’s strategic objectives.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the school’s business functions.
- Develop and implement cost-effective solutions to support the school’s educational goals.
- Coordinate with external providers and stakeholders to maintain service quality.
- Monitor and report on financial performance and budget management.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the school.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Relevant School Business Management Qualification or working towards one.
- Proven leadership experience in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of school operations and financial management.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Experience in managing teams and delivering high standards of service.
Preferred
- Experience with educational technology and digital systems.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in educational settings.
- Experience in managing large-scale projects or initiatives.
- Familiarity with Ofsted standards and school inspection processes.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive salary between POD Point 45 (£59,511) and POE Point 52 (£67,575).
