The Opportunity:
We are seeking an Upper School Teacher to join our dedicated team and lead a form of students aged 3–11. This role offers the opportunity to make a real impact in a school that values creativity, innovation, and high standards in teaching. The ideal candidate will be passionate about education and committed to student success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality teaching in core subjects such as English and mathematics
- Act as a Form Tutor, providing pastoral care and support to a group of students
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
- Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies and resources
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective learning experience
- Support the school’s mission of child-led learning and personal development
- Participate in professional development and school-wide initiatives
- Maintain accurate records and report on student progress
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Relevant degree or equivalent qualification
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience in teaching core subjects such as English and mathematics
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to high standards of teaching and student achievement
Preferred
- Experience in form tutoring or pastoral care
- Leadership experience or potential for future leadership roles
- Specialism in mathematics
- Experience with child-led or progressive teaching approaches
