The Opportunity:

We are seeking an Upper School Teacher to join our dedicated team and lead a form of students aged 3–11. The ideal candidate will be passionate about education and committed to student success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching in core subjects such as English and mathematics
  • Act as a Form Tutor, providing pastoral care and support to a group of students
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
  • Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies and resources
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective learning experience
  • Support the school’s mission of child-led learning and personal development
  • Participate in professional development and school-wide initiatives
  • Maintain accurate records and report on student progress

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Relevant degree or equivalent qualification
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience in teaching core subjects such as English and mathematics
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to high standards of teaching and student achievement

Preferred

  • Experience in form tutoring or pastoral care
  • Leadership experience or potential for future leadership roles
  • Specialism in mathematics
  • Experience with child-led or progressive teaching approaches
