Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual and group counselling services to students and families.
  • Develop and implement strategies for early intervention and emotional support.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student well-being.
  • Conduct assessments and create tailored support plans for students in need.
  • Deliver workshops and training sessions on mental health and emotional resilience.
  • Maintain detailed records and reports on student progress and interventions.
  • Support the school’s mission by promoting a culture of care, respect, and inclusion.
  • Participate in professional development and ongoing training to enhance counselling practices.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified and experienced School Counsellor or Psychotherapist.
  • Strong understanding of child and adolescent development and mental health.
  • Experience in providing support to students with emotional and behavioral challenges.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and build strong relationships with students, parents, and staff.
  • Commitment to the school’s core values of care, respect, and honesty.

Preferred

  • Experience in a school setting, particularly within the British curriculum.
  • Familiarity with international education systems and diverse student populations.
  • Knowledge of British curriculum and international educational standards.
  • Experience with early intervention strategies and trauma-informed care.
