Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group counselling services to students and families.
- Develop and implement strategies for early intervention and emotional support.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student well-being.
- Conduct assessments and create tailored support plans for students in need.
- Deliver workshops and training sessions on mental health and emotional resilience.
- Maintain detailed records and reports on student progress and interventions.
- Support the school’s mission by promoting a culture of care, respect, and inclusion.
- Participate in professional development and ongoing training to enhance counselling practices.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified and experienced School Counsellor or Psychotherapist.
- Strong understanding of child and adolescent development and mental health.
- Experience in providing support to students with emotional and behavioral challenges.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and build strong relationships with students, parents, and staff.
- Commitment to the school’s core values of care, respect, and honesty.
Preferred
- Experience in a school setting, particularly within the British curriculum.
- Familiarity with international education systems and diverse student populations.
- Knowledge of British curriculum and international educational standards.
- Experience with early intervention strategies and trauma-informed care.
