The Opportunity:
As a School Liaison Officer, you will play a key role in supporting student recruitment and fostering strong relationships with local secondary schools. This role is ideal for someone passionate about helping students achieve their potential and who thrives in a dynamic, supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and deliver school liaison activities to support student recruitment strategy.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with local secondary schools.
- Provide professional communication and advice on progression to Sixth Form.
- Support the delivery of an effective and customer-focused admissions process.
- Represent the institution at student recruitment events and school visits.
- Work closely with the Admissions Officer and Marketing team to ensure a seamless experience for applicants and parents.
- Assist in the planning and execution of college events related to student recruitment.
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Excellent communication and administrative skills.
- Experience in a school or educational setting, preferably in student recruitment or liaison roles.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with event coordination and management.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Preferred
- Experience in further education or sixth form colleges.
- Familiarity with the admissions process and progression routes to higher education.
- Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL) or ESOL provision.
- Knowledge of marketing and promotional strategies for educational institutions.
