As a School Nurse, you will provide essential clinical care and support to students, ensuring their health and wellbeing are prioritized in a dynamic and inclusive environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality clinical care to students of all ages
• Manage and respond to medical emergencies with professionalism and calm
• Support students with both acute and chronic health conditions
• Provide emotional and psychological support where needed
• Contribute to health education and wellbeing initiatives across the school
• Work collaboratively with the Lead Nurse and other staff members
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
• Promote health and safety standards in line with school policies

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified nurse with current NMC registration
• Strong clinical judgement and up-to-date nursing knowledge
• Experience managing acute and chronic conditions in a school setting
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, varied environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred

• Experience in school nursing or similar healthcare roles
• Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and child protection
• Experience with health education and wellbeing initiatives
• Flexibility to work part-time and during term time only
