The Opportunity:

We are seeking a dedicated Science Teacher to join a welcoming and collaborative department. Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Science to KS3, KS4, and potentially KS5 students
  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that support learners of all abilities
  • Contribute to the academic and pastoral life of the school
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and Science technicians
  • Participate in co-curricular activities and school events
  • Support the development of students' scientific knowledge and skills
  • Stay up to date with developments in Science education and curriculum

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant Science subject knowledge
  • Experience teaching Science at key stages 3, 4, and 5 (desirable)
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills
  • Ability to engage and inspire students of all abilities
  • Commitment to the school’s ethos and values

Preferred

  • Experience working with Early Career Teachers
  • Experience in a co-educational environment
  • Strong organisational and planning skills
  • Familiarity with modern Science teaching methods and resources
