The Opportunity:

As a School Principal K-12 Bhutan, you will lead a dynamic team and shape the strategic direction of a school dedicated to excellence in early years and K-12 education. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the school’s strategic development and ensure alignment with international education standards and the institution’s philosophy.
  • Oversee curriculum implementation and ensure high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment practices.
  • Monitor student achievement, progress, and wellbeing to inform decisions and interventions.
  • Develop and maintain a positive, collaborative school culture that fosters student growth and staff development.
  • Manage admissions, student placements, and ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety requirements.
  • Drive enrolment growth and brand visibility through effective marketing and community engagement.
  • Oversee daily school operations, ensuring smooth functioning and alignment with group standards.
  • Lead professional development initiatives that enhance instructional quality and support staff growth.
  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of students through robust safeguarding and pastoral systems.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven leadership experience in a K-12 school setting, preferably within an international education environment.
  • Strong understanding of international curricula, including IPC, IGCSE, and International A Level.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic plans aligned with institutional goals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff, parents, and the wider community.
  • Experience in managing school operations, including budgeting, resource planning, and compliance.

Preferred

  • Experience with the International Baccalaureate (IB) Programme.
  • Background in early years education and curriculum design.
  • Experience in leading professional development and coaching staff.
  • Familiarity with child safeguarding policies and practices.
  • Strong marketing and community engagement experience.
